Sacred places with many visitors

Mount Sinai, Egypt - of the mountain Moses received the Ten Commandments from God, though not unarguably archaeological evidence to confirm it. Today, visitors can climb to the summit where there is a small chapel and stunning views, especially at sunrise.

Mahabodhi Tree, India - Temple complex in the middle of which there are century-old tree which has given enlightenment of Prince Siddhartha to develop the teaching of Buddha. Under the tree has a beautiful statue of Buddha standing where Buddhists.

Uluru-Kata Tjuta, Australia - Located in the heart of the continent, these two natural vertical rock formations are the main attraction of the National Park Uluru-Kata Tjuta. Here Aborigines believed that the place is haunted, and so carried on rituals and ceremonies.

Cenote Sagrado, Mexico - These are deep holes filled with water as the ancient Mayans worshiped water and especially the rain god Chac. One of the most impressive holy springs, is Cenote Sagrado, situated near the largest Mayan archaeological complex of Chichen Itza in the Yucatan Peninsula.

Mount Kailash, Tibet - the black rock in the western part of Tibet is very sacred to Buddhists and Hindus, according to the center of the universe.
